Information about scholarships and bursaries
Carleton offers one of the most generous scholarship programs in the country!
Entrance Scholarships
- If you have been admitted to Carleton with a scholarship, a letter will be included with your offer. The letter will outline the details of the award and provide you with information on how the scholarship is paid.
- High school students receiving an Entrance Scholarship will have their award reassessed up until we receive their second semester midterm marks.
Leadership Entrance Bursaries
- Canadian high school students who have taken a leadership role in their school’s extracurricular activities and in community service may also be considered for a Leadership Entrance Bursary. An application is required.
Government Financial Aid
Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
- The Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) is a financial aid program funded by the federal and provincial governments for post-secondary students. OSAP provides Ontario students with financial assistance to help pay for university tuition and related educational costs.
- The OSAP application generally opens in early-May. For more information about OSAP, please visit the Awards and Financial Aid website.
Provincial Government Student Aid Programs
- As a student from outside Ontario, you may be eligible for loans and bursaries through your home province or territory. For more information about OSAP, please visit the Awards and Financial Aid website.
