CU is Calling!
In the coming months, you will be making important decisions about your exciting transition to post-secondary! Our team of student callers is here to help and will soon be reaching out. This is your chance to hear a real Carleton student’s story, have your questions answered and to learn more about our vibrant campus community.
We will be making calls on weekdays from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (ET).
Here are some helpful tips to make the most out of your conversation:
Tip #1: Don’t be alarmed if you miss our call.
Our student callers are working from home, which means they aren’t able toleave a callback number. No need to worry! Our enthusiastic callers will try again soon.
Tip #2: If you want to schedule a call, you can!
If you’re eager to chat with a member of our team, please fill out our request form.
Tip #3: Ask personal questions.
Our student callers went through the same application process that you’re going through now. Don’t be afraid to ask about their journey to post-secondary, what resources they used and what ultimately led them to Carleton.
Tip #4: Get specific.
Our callers are prepared to answer all questions related to the Carleton student experience! Some examples of topics you can ask about include:
- Living in residence
- Upcoming scholarship deadlines
- How to get involved as a first-year student
- Athletics and intramural sports
- What it’s like studying in Canada’s capital city
Tip #5: Make the call your own!
Whether your call is five or 50 minutes long, we want to make it as enjoyable as possible. Be candid, ask questions and tailor the chat to your own post-secondary journey.
We can’t wait to connect with you this fall!
