BCom graduates find rewarding careers across a variety of functions and sectors. Sprott offers a range of business career services, including an exclusive job portal, career advising, workshops and employer events.
Based on surveys of graduates from 2020-2022, 92 per cent of BCom respondents were employed within one year of graduation.

BUSI 1800 - Introduction to Business
Introduction to contemporary businesses in a complex economy. The various functions that come together to define a business will be examined. All forms of business communications emphasized.
BUSI 3205 - Marketing Communications
Promotion as communication process and marketing tool. Integrating advertising, direct/digital marketing, interactive media, sales promotion, public relations, personal selling through strategic planning (research, budgeting, organizing, creative and media strategy), execution, and campaign evaluation. Regulatory, ethical, social issues considerations.
