Each stop will allow you to see the campus, learn about programs and admissions criteria, meet with students and experience our cities. This is a great way to understand better the opportunities that await your students at our schools and to engage with peers and colleagues.

Oshawa. Day 1

Ontario Tech University, also known as Ontario Tech, is a public research university located in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. Modern and forward-thinking, Ontario Tech University advances the discovery and application of knowledge to accelerate economic growth, regional development and social innovation.

Kingston. Day 2

Queen’s University is a leading, research-intense university in Canada offering an inclusive, transformative education. Located in Kingston, Ontario, university’s campus community is deeply integrated into the city’s local and regional economy, culture, and social fabric.

Ottawa. Day 3 and Day 4

Carleton University is a dynamic research and teaching institution with exciting programs and a strong community of staff, faculty and students. Ideally located at the heart of Canada’s capital, Carleton University is a connected and compassionate research and teaching institution with a passion for driving real change in the world.

The University of Ottawa, often referred to as uOttawa or U of O, is the largest English-French bilingual research university in the world. Since 1848, the University of Ottawa has been Canada’s university: a reflection, an observatory and a catalyst of the Canadian experience in all its complexity and diversity.

The Canadian University Counsellor Tour is scheduled to take place directly after the International ACAC conference to allow participants to extend their stay in Canada and learn more about some great study options for their students. Whether you are attending International ACAC or not, consider joining us for what promises to be a fun and engaging week!

The tour begins in Oshawa on July 14.
The tour ends in Ottawa on July 18.

The tour for international high school counsellors includes on-the-ground transportation in each city and between stops, accommodation, and meals. Counsellors are responsible for their travel to Oshawa and from Ottawa.

Complete the form below by March 22, 2024, to apply for the tour. Please note that partial participation is not possible. All selected applicants must attend the entire tour from July 14 till July 18. Invited counsellors will be contacted by email on March 30, 2024.
