Program Details

Sustainable Electrical Power Engineering (BEng) Electric power is being reshaped by electrification, renewables, storage and digital grid control. In Sustainable Electrical Power Engineering, you will learn to analyze, design and operate modern electrical power systems, from generation and power conversion to transmission, distribution and end use. You’ll gain hands-on experience in our Smart Grid labs and during co-op work terms. With focused study areas in generation and use, efficiency and storage, and energy distribution, you can tailor your degree to your interests.

Co-op

Carleton offers students a paid Co-op option with work terms of 4, 6, 8, 12 or 16 months.
