Emmett is a fourth-year student in the Art History program and works at the Carleton University Art Gallery. In Art History, we study the realm of visual communication in all its varieties, from art and architecture around the world to photography and popular culture. We aim to instill in our students not only a historical framework for understanding imagery, but also a methodological awareness of the multiple possibilities for interpreting art and other visual phenomena.
