Award description

International students applying to undergraduate programs starting in September 2026 will be automatically considered for the President’s Welcome Award for International Students, a value of $2,000 – $5,000 CAD, depending on their grades at the time of admission. This award is offered in the first year in addition to other Entrance Scholarships.

Please note that this award is available only to international students entering directly from high school and paying international student fees.

How to receive the award?

Apply for any bachelor’s degree at Carleton University with the September 2026 start date as an international student. You will be considered for the award automatically, in addition to other automatic Entrance Scholarships, including the renewable scholarship that ranges from $1,000 up to $16,000 over 4 years of studies.
