Maintaining a conditional offer of admission
If you received a conditional offer of admission, it means you must satisfy certain conditions in order to keep your admission offer. Please note, your conditional offer is your offer! You will not receive a new offer once your conditions have been met.
If you received a conditional offer, you must:
1. Meet your program requirements
In order to retain your offer of admission, you must meet the program requirements detailed in the references provided below and applicable to your type of education. Each program has specific requirements, including overall and prerequisite averages, so please review the chart carefully. If you have any questions, please contact Admissions Services.
- Ontario high school
- High schools outside Ontario
- International Baccalaureate
- British patterned systems (“A” and “O” levels)
2. Complete the requirements for your high school diploma (if applicable)
If you are in a high school, you must successfully complete the requirements for your high school diploma.
3. We must receive your final grades by August 15
Because a conditional offer is also based on your mid-term or interim grades, we must receive your final grades by August 15 in order to confirm that you still meet the requirements for your program. If you no longer meet the required averages, we will have to withdraw your offer. Where it is possible we will give you an alternative offer of admission.
