Gairdner Lecture

You have been invited to attend the 2023 Gairdner Lecture at Carleton University, taking place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023.

The Gairdner Lecture is an annual event that invites past and current Gairdner award winners to universities to promote Science. Carleton is one of the partnering universities with the Gairdner Student Outreach Program. This year, Carleton University will host Dr. Gelareh Zadeh, the 2023 Canada Gairdner Momentum Award recipient and Dr. José Belizán, the 2023 John Dirks Canada Gairdner Global Health Award recipient.

Students will attend a lecture by Dr. Gelareh Zadeh and Dr. José Belizán, enter draws for the chance to win prizes, and have the option to attend a campus tour and enjoy a complimentary lunch.
