Gairdner Lecture

You have been invited to attend the 2022 Gairdner Lecture at Carleton University, taking place on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

The Gairdner Lecture is an annual event that invites past and current Gairdner award winners to universities to promote Science. Carleton is one of the partnering universities with the Gairdner Student Outreach Program. This year, Carleton University will host Dr. Drew Weissman, the 2022 Canada Gairdner International Award recipient and Dr. Deborah Cook, the 2022 Canada Gairdner Wightman Award recipient.

Students will attend a lecture by Dr. Weissman and Dr. Cook, enter draws for the chance to win prizes, and have the option to attend a campus tour and enjoy a complimentary lunch.
