Discover what it means to study Cognitive Science at Carleton University. Meet professors, current students, and visit three labs to better understand the program and opportunities it offers. This event features an introductory workshop that provides a glimpse into the intriguing research of Professor Jim Davies on habit formation (how to make and break habits).

 

Agenda

  • 6:00- 6:45 p.m. – Habit Formation Workshop by Professor Jim Davies and current Carleton student.
  • 6:45 – 8:00 p.m. – Guided tour of three Cognitive Science labs: the Cognition and Neuroscience of Aging (CANAL) Lab, the Linguistic Neurodiversity Lab and the Advanced Cognitive Engineering (ACE) Lab. This dynamic tour includes demos set up by current students.
