About this event
On today’s episode, we’re exploring one of our many First-Year Seminars (FYSM) courses! These small classes are designed to give students the opportunity to discuss and research topics of interest in a core subject area. Dr. Meera Karunananthan, Assistant Professor in the department of Geography and Environmental Studies, tells us why FSYMs are so important; what sparked her passion for social justice; and shares how students can get involved inside and outside the classroom.
