Gairdner Lecture

You have been invited to attend the 2024 Gairdner Lecture at Carleton University, taking place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

The Gairdner Lecture is an annual event that invites past and current Gairdner award winners to universities to promote Science. Carleton is one of the partnering universities with the Gairdner Student Outreach Program. This year, Carleton University will host Dr. Meghan Azad, the 2024 Canada Gairdner Momentum Award recipient and Dr. Pascal Mayer, the 2024 Canada Gairdner International Award recipient.

Students will attend a lecture by Dr. Meghan Azad and Dr. Pascal Mayer enter draws for the chance to win prizes, and have the option to attend a campus tour and enjoy a complimentary lunch.
