Food Science Workshop

Plants have evolved to protect themselves from environmental stress. In this workshop, we’ll explore the power of plants as natural food preservatives. More specifically, we’ll test the capacity of various plants to fight oxidative stress, inhibit microbial growth and puncture fungal membranes.
