Robertson Hall

Robertson Hall houses Admissions Services, the Undergraduate Recruitment Office, the Business Office, the Awards Office, the Parking Office and University Safety, as well as other university administrative offices.

MacOdrum Library

The library houses a collection of more than 3.4 million books, journals, and other materials. Recent additions to the library include a new Discovery Centre.

Tory Building

The Tory Building houses classrooms, a large lecture theatre, Student Academic and Career Development Services, the Student Experience Office, the Registrar’s Office, and the offices of the President and Vice-Presidents of the university.

University Centre

The University Centre, more commonly known as the Unicentre, is a focal point for student life at Carleton. Here you’ll find the campus bookstore, coffee shops, banking machines, a food court, Oliver’s Pub, a convenience store and more.

Residence Commons

The Residence Commons is the hub of residence life. The building contains the Fresh Food Company residence dining hall (offering all-you-can-eat meals), a convenience store, and the 24-hour Residence Commons reception desk.

Residence

Eleven university residences, named after Ontario counties in the Ottawa Valley— Prescott, Renfrew, Lanark, Frontenac, Grenville, Russell, Leeds, Dundas, Stormont, Glengarry, and Lennox and Addington—provide a home to over 3,600 students in double and single rooms.

Athletics

The Raven’s Centre offers a wide range of fitness and recreation programs, a fitness centre, an enclosed Fieldhouse with indoor jogging track and artificial playing field, an Olympic-size pool, squash courts, an Ice House with two NHL-sized hockey rinks and a triple gymnasium called the Ravens’ Nest. Outdoor facilities include tennis courts and playing fields.

Carleton Technology and Training Centre

The Carleton Technology and Training Centre is home to the university’s Health and Counselling Services, a coffee shop, a pharmacy, the Co-op and Employer Centre and a dental clinic.
