This program is intended for transfer students – Carleton students with credits transferred from another post-secondary institution.

Transfer students face unique challenges as new upper-year students joining the campus community. Making connections with other students is often key to a successful transition. Carleton is pleased to offer new transfer students the opportunity to connect with student volunteers through the Transfer Student Peer Mentorship Program. Interested students will be matched with a former transfer student for personalized support through weekly meetings, email and social media. Mentors can provide valuable advice and referrals to both student services and social activities. Overall, having a mentor is a great way to become connected to the campus, focus on your academic success and personal growth, gain support from your peers at Carleton, and make connections with other students.
