Students can prove their language proficiency in a number of ways. Students can either present official transcripts indicating they have completed their most recent three years (full-time) in a high school, college or university in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom or another country in which the primary language is English and where the language of instruction in the relevant educational institution was exclusively English (e.g. a British, Canadian, or American curriculum or the International Baccalaureate diploma) or submit one of the various English language test scores accepted by Carleton. For information on the scores required to receive an offer of admission see our English Language Requirements.
