Students who are starting at Carleton University this fall can begin to prepare for their arrival.

Orientation programs

All new students are invited to attend Fall Orientation. Fall Orientation gives students the opportunity to become familiar with campus, participate in exciting activities and build connections before classes begin. There are three Fall Orientation programs and capacity for all programs is limited.

  • Centralized Fall Orientation: open to all Carleton students.
  • Sprosh: specialized orientation program for Sprott School of Business students.
  • Engfrosh: specialized orientation program for Engineering and Design students.

All new students must attend Academic Orientation, taking place on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

All new international students are invited to attend one I-Start Orientation session, as well as the I-Start Welcome Event.
