Statistics

Statistics is the art and science of applying mathematical ideas to obtain useful information in the face of uncertain data. As a statistician, you will plan data collection methods, monitor the processing of data and advise on the interpretation and limitations of results. You will have many career possibilities in a wide variety of organizations. Our Statistics program is designed to provide you with the basic tools you will need for statistical analysis. The Honours program also includes an introduction to the theoretical dimension of statistics required for advanced studies.

Statistics is available as an Honours or a General program. A minor is also offered.
