Carleton’s Undergraduate Recruitment Office has launched a new admissions website, a mobile app for prospective students and a new recruitment video.

Our new website
Our new admissions website is distinctive, streamlined and fun, with an easy-to-navigate design, fresh use of multimedia content and concise program information. It has an eye-catching “anything but textbook” look, and all of the crucial content for prospective students has been brought to the forefront. A mobile-friendly version of the website has also been launched.

Each program description in the new site is designed to give a quick overview of the program, including available degrees, co-op information, career options and links to admission requirements. PDF versions of our program brochures are only a click away for visitors who wish to delve further into program details. Prospective students planning their future paths in education and beyond can browse our career list and find out which programs to take to pursue their career of choice.

All of the features of our previous website remain: prospective students can still book a campus tour, subscribe to our e-newsletter, check on upcoming events or read the latest posts from our student bloggers.

Our new mobile app
There seems to be an app for everything these days, and that includes our new mobile app designed specifically for future Carleton University students. It has an easy-to-use, stylish interface to help prospective students find the information they need on our programs and the application process—all presented in a mobile-friendly manner. The app can also be used to find future student news, catch up with our bloggers, register for events, book a campus tour or explore our photo and video galleries. It is available for Apple and Android-based mobile devices. Expect an enhanced version in the near future!

Our new video
Prospective students wanting a three-minute introduction to what Carleton is all about can take a look at our new video, “Discover Carleton University,” which features stunning HD footage of our campus, classrooms, support offices, athletics facilities and residences, as well as testimonials from current students. Keep an eye out for special appearances by our mascot, Rodney the Raven! admissions.
